Ruddy the wizard had a knack for two things: powerful magic (when he was sober) and homemade \"holiday spirits\" (when he wasn't--which was most of the time), so when he gleefully tied jingle bells around a passing donkey's neck and declared, \"You're a reindeer now, Rannoff! The most magical of them all!\" it took only a brief incantation and a sip off the ol' Frostivus flask for the beast to wholeheartedly embrace the role.
